Puppy Page

Welcome to our puppy page. Before enquiring about a puppy please take the time to read through the F.A.Q section of our website in addition to researching the breed as much as possible. This should answer most of your questions as well as covering everything we like prospective Shiba owners to know.

When thinking about owning a Shiba, all the great things about them aside, you need to be aware that they-

1/ are  NOT an off the lead breed. If you want a dog that you're able to let run free at will, then the Shiba is not a suitable breed for you.

2/ need secure fencing. At least 6ft fences are required.

3/ are a double coated breed and will drop coat over a period of 6 weeks or so, at least once, probably twice a year.

4/ need to be socialised and exposed to the outside world as much as possible as puppies. A Shiba that doesn't have the time dedicated to it as puppy is usually a handful later in life.
